After years of working in retail and becoming increasingly dismayed at the amount of waste it produced and the impact it was having on the planet, I was determined to start my own sustainable little business.

 

I became even more intent on doing this during the lockdowns so completed lots of online courses including aromatherapy, reiki, reflexology, all kinds of holistic therapys, and had an idea of making candles as a sideline... and the candles have completely taken over!

 

I wanted to create beautiful fragrances that were planet-friendly, inspired by the natural world, and that would enable you to bring a little bit of the outdoors and nature into your homes. 

Scented candles can have amazing theraputic powers, not only due to their gentle flickering flame, but also because of the way the brain processes smells. Their fragrances can stimulate our limbic system, which is where we store our memories and emotions. This can then release hormones like serotonin and dopamine which can help regulate our emotions, and have a really positive effect on our moods and mental health. Combined with scents that can evoke feelings of being in nature, my candles are the perfect choice for those who are looking for an eco-friendly, sustainable and vegan option for their nature-inspired home fragrances.

All my products have been made with the planet in mind, with every aspect carefully researched to ensure that they are as enviromentally responsible as possible. Sustainability is such an important part of my process and is always at the heart of everything I do!

 

My candles and wax nature melts are made from 100% responsibly sourced, sustainable, renewable and fully biodegradable soy wax. They contain fragrance oils that are made from natural essential sources or, in the case of my aromatherapy candle range, 100% natural essential oils.

The wicks are either eco-friendly wooden wicks or unbleached wicks made from paper and ring-spun sustainable cotton.

 

My luxury candle jars are made from glass with silicone-free, sustainably sourced wooden lids and are perfect for repurposing (or recycling), and my eco friendly amber jars and candle tins are also fully recyclable. ​Every single label is made from recycled paper too!

I only ever use a vegan/cruelty-free base in my reed diffusers, which is made from a 100% renewably sourced vegetable glycerin that is registered with the vegan society. It is also non-flammable, alcohol free, and non-toxic to humans, animals or the enviroment.

As a vegan myself for many years, I ensure all my products and their ingredients are completely vegan and cruelty free. To tread even lighter on the Earth, we will fund the planting of 1 tree for every single product you buy!

I believe in a world where we can live in harmony with nature. A world where we can protect it, nurture it and preserve it for our children and our future generations. We are at such a critical point and now is the time to make changes before it is too late. Big changes come from small actions and a great smelling home doesn't have to cost the earth!
